Company comments: Chad Sharpe was looking for a great boot that once you were in, felt as if you had the support of a snowboard boot/binding combo, yet was contoured around the rider's leg with an elastic overlay system. We researched several versions of a stiffer back and came up with a two-part EVA heel that overall is nearly twice as thick for a firmer fit on the six-year-running High Back.

Elastic Option 2 strap gives a rider greater heel hold down
15-degree molded brace shapes around the rider's heel for a more secure fit
Heel bumps: Crank the volume
